BLExplr is a utility designed for the discovery, connection, and exploration of nearby Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices. The application allows users to establish connections with specific BLE peripherals and navigate through the available services and their associated characteristics. Currently, the app supports reading, writing, writing without response, notifications, and indications for characteristics. Only one peripheral can be connected at a time. When running in the background, the app can receive updates via indicate and notify characteristics, prompting it to display changes to the user.
Additionally, BLExplr offers functionality for ranging iBeacons, Estimote Beacons, and Estimote Nearables, broadening its utility for proximity-based applications.
For detailed support, feature requests, or feedback, users are encouraged to utilize the provided support URL.
Compatible devices include the iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, and iPhone 5C. The application is not compatible with iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, or iPod touch (4th generation or earlier).
